When you first find out that you have an upcoming relocation to Port Huron Michigan, one of your first decisions is whether to look at new homes in Port Huron Michigan or existing homes in Port Huron Michigan. You can also contract to have a home built to your specifications. While it may be tempting to build a new home from scratch, you have to factor in the stress of not having a permanent home during the months of construction. You may want to consider “spec” homes that builders have almost completed. This will give you the freedom to choose colors and styles, but will also enable you to move into your new home shortly after your relocation to Port Huron Michigan. I have friends that lived in a 2 room efficiency motel for 5 ½ months (with 2 children and a dog!) while their home was being built. She told me that she would never do that again. She loved having a new home, but has decided that if she ever moves across country again, she will not subject her family to that experience again.
Port Huron is a city in the U.S. state of Michigan. As of the 2000 census, the city population was 32,338. It is the county seat of St. Clair County6. The city is adjacent to Port Huron Township, but is politically independent. It is joined by the Blue Water Bridge over the St. Clair River to Sarnia, Ontario. The city also lies at the southern end of Lake Huron. It is the easternmost point on land in Michigan. The Port Huron Museum offers five different sites to tour including the Carnegie Center, the Huron Lightship, the Thomas Edison Depot Museum, the Coast Guard Cutter Bramble, and the Fort Gratiot Lighthouse. Each year, the Port Huron to Mackinac Boat Race is held, with a starting point in Port Huron north of the Blue Water Bridge. The race finishes at Mackinac Island, Michigan, crossing Lake Huron. It is considered by some boaters to be a warm-up for the longer Chicago to Mackinac Boat Race. -- Source: Wikipedia.com AskMe a Question About Port Huron, MichiganTo ask a question or make a comment about Port Huron, Michigan Click Here.
